First Gathering and BBQ- this Sunday 9th December, Little Kaiteriteri 6pm

It's all on, the inaugural Paddle and fellowship (beers, BBQ and tall tales) of the Kaiteriteri Paddleboarders.

This Sunday 9th December at 6pm. There'll be loads of spare boards for folks to borrow and have a laugh and a few pointers on technique given out, so come on down, bring a friend and have fun! See you on the water!!!

The outlook for the weekend ahead....

So as the weekend rolls around, the  Metservice is picking a "disturbed" flow moving onto central NZ. That means Northerlies, rain and a chance of surf. The pick seems to be Sunday and with a 1.45pm high in the order of 4.2m we could be looking at a somewhat decent surf session at Ruby Bay (wind and swell permitting of course. See you out there!

From humble beginnings.......

This is it, the first post on the homepage of the first and only SUP Club in the Abel Tasman.

The aims here are simple, to inspire, motivate and facilitate SUPers to get out there and go paddle!

So where the bloody hell are ya???

The cool thing about Paddleboarding, is well it's easy, relaxed and completely unstructured. Olympic athletes, fitness freaks, competition junkies we ain't! Just a bunch of locals who like getting out there, paddling, surfing and exploring.

So why get a club rolling? Simply because it's more fun with a crew and after a long and hard (or short and easy) paddle it's great to share a quiet drink with like minded individuals.

We'll be bringing you updates on events, happenings and a few articles on technique. There will be videos, trip reports, gear reviews and more SUP info than you can shake your 100% carbon paddle at!
